INOVIS UK: Leading provider of supply chain communication solutions.

Situation:

A client of Inovis UK (www.inovis.co.uk) needed to establish key information about its suppliers prior to the roll-out of a company-wide supply chain streamlining program impacting hundreds of suppliers. The same suppliers were informed of the roll-out and its purpose of simplifying ordering processes between themselves and the client.

Action:

Working from data that was largely outdated, the phoneforbusiness team provided the Inovis client with fresh insight as to the nature of the relationship with each supplier, the people involved at the supplier side, the lines and quantities of stock involved, and where and for how long issues existed.

Result:

The client was able to plan future actions on the basis of correct knowledge and Inovis were able to send tailored supplier packs based on data established about each company supplying their client.

INTEGRESIS: An Internet Solutions business

Situation:

Integresis (www.integresis.com) needed to get in front of more web design and web development businesses in order to present the workings and advantages of the OpenSites web development platform to these businesses.

Action:

phoneforbusiness was retained to set appointments for live demonstrations (in office and on the web) to web design and web development businesses.

Result:

With twelve highly qualified appointments resulting from the first five days cold calling activity, Integresis was able to boost its sales pipeline, registering purchases from its website within the first month.

TIMEPOWER: A leading UK based provider of Training Services

Situation:

TimePower (www.timepower.co.uk) needed to call businesses following recommendations from previous TimePower training workshop attendees to contact those businesses, with a view to securing delegates for future public and privately held workshops.

Action:

phoneforbusiness was retained to contact companies and named individuals to assess their training requirements and willingness to attend workshops. This also involved securing suitable venues for workshops to take place based on sufficient numbers (10 – 16) attending each workshop.

Result:

Five training workshops were sold after only ten days of calling. All were very well attended and received very positive feedback.

AKENHURST CONSULTANTS: The Profitability Experts

Situation:

The CEO of Akenhurst (www.akenhurst.com) wanted to obtain several high profile speaking engagements.
The goal was to secure speaking engagements at which senior directors would be present.

Action:

phoneforbusiness was retained to contact national associations, trade and industry associations, CEO / director organisations and named individuals to assess the viability of Akenhurst’s CEO as a subject-matter expert speaker at their meetings and functions.

Result:

Averaging just one to two days per month activity over an eighteen month period, phoneforbusiness were able to raise the profile of Akenhurst as subject matter experts, securing more than 18 prestigious speaking engagements, including several to membership organisations catering to CEO’s and senior directors.

ICT CONNECTING: Specialist IT Direct Search and Recruitment

Situation:

ICT-Connecting (www.ICT-Connecting.com), a niche recruitment partner specialising in fulfilment of the most challenging roles in the IT marketplace by Direct Search (headhunting), wanted to qualify contact data and create appointments with blue-chip companies based in Belgium. It was the end of the year and some of the companies were working under the spectre of redundancies.

Action:

Calling on named contacts, and using online networking platforms, phoneforbusiness discovered new people for ICT-Connecting to engage with. The initial phase of this project took just over 2 days.

Result:

phoneforbusiness quickly made the first appointment with a large company that was having little success in attracting suitably qualified candidates for a specialist role. The meeting resulted in ICT Connecting being added to that company’s preferred supplier list. Another company returned a voice mail message to arrange a meeting. Concrete follow-up actions were also made with other companies.
